Templates

A template is a business unit, legal entity and contract type saved under one name. People pick it at the top of the contract, or write "Template: name" in their message.

Defaults for every contract

Filled in on each new contract so nobody has to type them. They can still be changed on a single contract.

Used until a person picks another one; the app then remembers their last choice.

Contract terms

Used when the contract terms are added, as on Oracle's "Add Contract Terms" screen.

The report that links terms templates to contract types. Leave blank to skip it.

Oracle codes for your instance

Contact roles can be the role name as shown in Oracle (for example Risk Reviewer) or its code. Party role codes and line type must match your Oracle setup.

Understanding free-form requests

Optional. With a Claude API key the app also understands requests written in your own words. The text you type and the draft are then sent to Anthropic to be read; your Oracle password is never sent. Without a key, labelled fields and Excel rows still work.
